LA CROSSE (WKBT) – Crews will remove the Myrick Park tennis courts in La Crosse as they are unusable and beyond repair, officials said.
Vandals recently cut the locks to the courts and repeatedly entered, according to a press release from the city’s parks, recreation and forestry department.
Other tennis facilities in the city are:
Illuminated grounds
Copeland Park (four courts), 1130 Copeland Park Drive
Weigent Park (two), 1500 Cass St.
Bluffview Park (two), Jackson Street and 28th Street S.
Green Island Park (Seven), 2300 Seventh St. S.
Course without lights
Red Cloud Park (two), 520 Powell St.
Forest Hills (six), Losey Boulevard and La Crosse Street
Green Island Park (six), 2300 Seventh St. S.
