The closure of the Yatton railway bridge will make life difficult, if you are planning to travel to, or through the village from Clevedon. The bridge will be fully closed from 3rd December to 17th December. It will then be "half" closed over the Christmas period. The bridge will then be closed again

from 7th January until 25th February.

So, what can you do to avoid the chaos? Well, if you're heading south of Yatton, the authorities advise you to use the M5 and then the A370.

When travelling from Yatton to Clevedon, your best bet is to aim for Claverham and travel across Kenn Moor, where a one way system is in operation during the closure. When travelling to Yatton from Clevedon, you could aim for the A370 via Chelvey and get to Yatton through Claverham.
