If the weather's bad and you're feeling bored this summer, why not try swimming in the rain in Portishead's open air swimming
pool? It's a unique experience, which should be tried at least once in your lifetime!
The pool is heated and with the rain on your back, it can often be warmer in the pool, than out.
The pool has recently been
saved from closure and is now run by the Portishead Pool Community Trust. It is operated by a team of volunteers, with a paid pool manager and life guard staff.
An adult swim costs £3.50 and a family ticket costs £9.00
After your swim, you can relax in the Lockhouse Lounge, which serves drinks and food.
So why not give it a go this summer?
It's even better when the sun's shining!
