Marine Lake

Completed in 1929 and very popular for many years after. A number of hardy swimmers continue to use the lake today, including Steve Price, who has swum the English Channel, completed a two-way crossing of the Bristol Channel and, most recently, became only the seventh person to swim across the Irish Sea.
