It's Carnival Time!

I would like to invite your readers to join our team of fundraisers collecting at this year's Weston Super Mare Carnival for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The carnival is taking place on Monday 13^th November and will start from Locking Road car park at 7.15pm but anyone interested in joining in the fun please contact Community Fundraising Manager Clair beforehand on 0117 924 7275 or email clair.cusack@mariecurie.org.uk to arrange a meeting time and place.

Fancy dress is not compulsory but adds to the whole atmosphere of the procession and can only help to stand out and attract attention from the crowds.

Every £20 raised from the evening will provide a Marie Curie nurse in a terminally ill patient's home offering support and care to both the patient and the family.

So, if your diary is free why not fill the evening having fun, meeting new people and raising vital funds for a worthy cause – you really can make such a difference.
