National Blood Service to Visit Clevedon If you've
thought of giving blood, but have never got round to it, then here's your chance to do so.The National Blood Service will be holding a blood donation session on Sunday 30th May at Princes Hall, Princes Road, Clevedon from 9:30am to 1:45pm. In order to help reduce
waiting times, they recommend that you make an appointment in advance by calling 0845 7 711 711.The National Blood Service needs to collect 10,000 units of blood per day and just one donation can help to save
the lives of up to three people. The majority of people can give blood providing they are aged between 17-60 (70 if you are a regular donor) and in good health, yet only 6% of the eligible population currently do so.
So why not give it a go? It won't cost you a penny and you'll no doubt be doing someone a big favour. The National Blood Service website can be found at www.blood.co.uk
